Week 5 EOC: Plan the Superbowl Halftime Show

I would have 2 artists perform for the Superbowl Halftime Performance, one person who would send a message and one person who has such exciting music that they would get the crowd into the Superbowl even more. The artist who would send a message would probably be Beyonce, because of her stature in not only African-American culture, but American culture, or Kanye West because of how passionate he is about what he does, and how over the top he is when there's a point he needs to get across. The other performer would be Drake, because he is just as easily recognizable, him and, Kanye West, and Beyonce are all friends with eachother, and everybody would get into his music. He's one of the biggest music artists out right now, if not the biggest music artist out right now. All three of those names are basically huge brands. "Target markets often associate brands with successful athletes and celebrities" (Ch.5 Pg.153). "During the brand recognition stage, consumers know of the brand, but the brand has little influence on their purchases. Consumers view brands as valuable during the preference stage" (Ch. 5 Pg. 154). There will also be beverages and food for everyone to enjoy. "Soft drinks are a perfect example of a product line. There are several choices to meet the needs of different consumer tastes and diets" (Ch.5 Pg.152).
